Still pretty calm around here. WAR COMMAND has still not yet sent anything for the CD release, supposedly only the lay-out for booklet needs to be completed. Probably better bet on a summer release for this one.

A rather new and very interesting website has been brought to my attention: Metal made in Canada. For those who know Metal Archives, it's similar site but only for Canadian bands. The site is young, so many bands are missing. Anybody can help to gather infos, so wipe out those dusty demo tapes you old metalheads, haha!! There is also a forum in there. Un site web plutôt nouveau et très intéressant m'a été présenté: Metal made in Canada. Pour ceux et celles qui connaissent le site Metal Archives, c'est un site semblable mais dédié uniquement aux groupes canadiens. Le site est assez récent, il manque donc de nombreux groupes. Pretty calm around here, a new section has been added to mailorder, MOURNFUL HYMNS TO WAR. This section goes for the darker, bleaker sides of metal, drifting from the traditional energy of metal: Doom and Dark metal. Also will be included here anything mixing metal with folk elements. As you'll see, the selection is rather thin, really sorry for this, but those genres are not my personal cup of tea... Nevertheless, you might discover something new, and also a few classics of those genres.

Cette section couvre le côté plus sombre du métal, contrastant avec l'énergie habituelledu métal: le Doom et le Dark metal. Comme vous pourrez le constater, la sélection est plutôt mince, désolé pour ceci, mais je dois avouer que ces genres ne font pas partie de mes préférences personnelles. Donc, je n'y connais rien!!! Mais vous pourrez peut-être faire une découverte intéressante ou encore vous procurez un classique du genre.

Another year of defilement has started. The first Morbid Moon release of 2010 should be the long-awaited debut album from Quebec's WAR COMMAND. The band is still recording their material. They have suffered yet from another change in line up: just after the Blasphemy gig in October 2009, the bass player decided to quit!! Now guitarist Warbrecht has switched to bass and a new guitar player has joined. The band should deliver master CD and final lay-out in march. Album should be expected the following month.

New designs for NUCLEARHAMMER shirts are being put together by the band, so you can expect new uniforms to be available in april. Une autre année de profanation débute!! Comme vous pouvez le constater, j'ai pris la résolution de faire les nouvelles en français aussi. Désolé de ne pas l'avoir fait avant!!! D'ailleurs, si quelqu'un est intéressé(e) à faire de la traduction pour les pages des groupes et des productions, faites-le moi savoir. Cds gratuits en échange!!! La première parution de Morbid Moon en 2010 devrait être le premier album de WAR COMMAND de Québec. Le groupe est encore en enregistrement. Encore un changement dans le line -up: juste après le show de BLASPHEMY en Octobre 2009, le bassiste a décidé de lâcher!! Maintenant c'est le guitariste Warbrecht qui s'approprie la bass et un nouveau guitariste s'est joint au rang. Le groupe devrait livrer le CD master et le lay-out final en mars. L'album devrait paraître le mois suivant.

De nouveaux graphiques sont mis au point par le groupe en vue de produire des shirts de NUCLEARHAMMER, vous pouvez vous attendre à voir de nouveaux uniformes en avril. On December 1st, NUCLEAR HAMMER - Obliteration Ritual CD was released. first full-length of violent, suffocating, hate-filled Black / Death / Doom / War Metal is unleashed upon wretched humanity. BESTIAL RAIDS LPs and Picture Discs have finally been received after months of delay.... A report on that matter will be posted in the rip-off section, but for now, any metal label is advised not to work with Recordpressing.com from San Francisco, USA.

Expect a truly disturbing, rabid piece of chaos that is a brutal reminder of the way that BM should have gone in the early 90’s… before it got forged in gayness with non-Metal instruments and “beautiful” melodies. Limited to 1000 copies, each comes with superb Gatefold jacket + insert filled with desecrating artworks from the insane mind of K. Witczak!!! Also includes (1) vinyl-only bonus track.

Pressing is as follows: 450 copies on noble black vinyl LP, 450 copies on sick Picture Disc, and only 100 Double LP combo packages (only sold through MMR mailorder). Those packages come with both black vinyl LP and Picture Disc LP inserted in (1) gatefold jacket + insert. All versions can be ordered NOW in the mailoder!!! ORDER HERE!!

This release is very heavy in weight, particularly the Pic. LP and the combo pack, alas it will command high shipping prices if sent airmail. European customers can order through IRON BONEHEAD Prods. At last, the Heavy Weaponry (Mailorder section) is now fully operative. Over 600 weapons of mass desecration have been aligned, so be sure to go get loaded!! No more damn list downloading and out of stock items not updated on list!!
Since the postal fees are so fucked here in Canada, the automated postal calculator cannot be used. There are so many ways to pack a parcel in order to save you postage fees (different type of mailers, unboxed cds, etc.), the calculator is too basic to consider any of those.
Here is how the mailorder will work: Once you are registered (only once, on initial order), just fill your shopping cart as usual, with what you want. You can change the Mailorder's currency (right bottom of screen). It is set in Canadian (CAN) dollars by default, but it can also display prices in US funds or Euros. When you'll choose to Check Out, the mailorder will record your order and send it to me via email. I will calculate your personal postage fees and send back an email with all required infos to make your payment.
IMPORTANT: When checking out, be sure to specify prefered payment method and any request you may have (cds sent unboxed if it lowers your postage charges, using surface mail for heavy parcels, etc.) using the "Add Comments About Your Order" box, your instructions will be tranfered along with your order.

BESTIAL RAIDS LP test pressings have been received!! Finally the release is taking a step forward after much delays. 500 regular vinyls + 500 picture discs will be pressed, each will be coming with gatefold jacket, insert and exclusive bonus track.

Also, a fine addition to the Morbid Moon roster has occured: local War Metal demons WAR COMMAND (Quebec, Qc, Canada.) have chosen Morbid Moon Recs. to issue their forthcoming debut release. Expect this merciless assault in fall 2009. Biography soon to be featured in Soldiers section.

Finally, the NUCLEARHAMMER album is ready, just some lay-out that needs to be completed for the booklet, then its off to the pressing plant!! If all goes well, this should be out in fall 2009.

BESTIAL RAIDS LP will be delayed furthermore, the manufacturer said that the test pressings for both LP and Pic. LP editions have been sent to me at the end of june. So I dont expect to get the records delivered before august. Doing business with this pressing plant have been great for EPs, but now, those are the most horrific delays I have ever seen. I have paid them since early march and still got nothing. Be sure that when I have all LPs, a detailed report on this will be done, hoping it will prevent more metal labels to use this particular manufacturer.

The problem is that the vast majority of those demos are REALLY FAR AWAY from what Morbid Moon Recs is publishing, like I get some Doom metal or black / ambient. It takes money to make those, and even more to send them worlwide, so my advice would be: STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY!!! Take some time to check out labels before sending anything to them, to see if they are at least related to your music. This being said, if you dont have time to research the labels, I wont take my time to reply nor to send back something I never wanted anyways!!

Grave news from the front. Looks like DEIPHAGO will not be fighting in the Filth Division anymore. They will not be issuing their second assault through us. Nonetheless, we will surely have this massive strike in the mailorder shortly after its release, it will be waiting for you!! The band and label will stay in very good terms, so be prepared for possible future collaboration. My personal best wishes to the unholy horde of DEIPHAGO, you have earned it!

BASTARDATOR's full lenth is finally out! Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, this is savage Canadian Thrash mixed with the raw, sheer aggression once displayed by early crossover bands. This is not one of those “jump on the bandwagon” retro-Thrash Metal outfits – this is DRI/COC/DOA/GBH-fueled Thrash Fucking Metal with a vicious bite, in the classick vein of canuck gods Piledriver, Slaughter and early Voivod .

I hope they will be out by end of the month, but nothing is guaranteed... Therefore, I dont want to take pre-orders now and then being bugged all the time because of the delays. HELLACAUST (Canada) album re-issue is out and ready to pummel down your speakers. So for all the unlucky bastards that were not able to get a copy of "Inevitable Dementia" (the band's 2nd album from 2006) from the original 500 cds pressed by GWN recs. (RIP) can now put their hands on this sick piece of rabid death/black/thrash metal.

Both BAPHOMETS HORNS and DEIPHAGO have had their new releases sent to the pressing plants. BH cds should be ready very soon, but more delays have to be expected for the DEIPHAGO Eps, since it is pressed outside the country. The last vinyl pressing plant in Canada has closed at the end of 2007, thus forcing the use of US plants, and records end up getting manufactured in Cz. Rep. so many delays due to transportation. It will be worth the wait, rest assured sickos!!!

The re-issue of HELLACAUST album from 2006 will be ready for a mid-march release, so it should be available in mailorder around march 15th, 2008.

Also, DEIPHAGO has some new bestial tracks recorded. Those will be issued on picture EP format (with insert), a limited run of 500 copies will be pressed. Right now, the release is planned to be as follows: 400 regular copies + 100 die-hard copies including poster and patch.

BAPHOMETS HORNS has finished recording their tracks for new album. Mixing still has to be done, and also final details of lay-out are being done. This should be out by march / april 2008. This will truly crush the weaks and annihilate all posers!!!!!

Morbid Moon will be re-issuing HELLACAUST (can) « Inevitable Dementia » CD, which was originally issued by Great White North Records, also from Canada. Only 500 copies were pressed before GWN was actually put to rest. This resulted in the album being rather difficult to obtain. Even more so now that the CD has been sold out by the band. This should be out in feb. / march 2008.

All ANIMA DAMNATA vinyl projects were deleted. Instead, we are looking at some sort of “complete discography” compilation. The band has enough material to fill up a triple – LP release, that would also come with thick booklet. This is expensive project for a small label like MMR, thus no release date can be advanced.
